The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health is seeking a Stroke Coordinator to coordinate scheduling and data collection within the Primary Stroke Center. The Stroke Coordinator is responsible for analyzing information, following up with patients and providing ongoing staff education.

Responsibilties:

• Collect data and provide abstraction and analysis of collected information
• Support ongoing staff education and ensure policies and procedures are implemented efficiently and effectively
• Perform staff evalution and implement improvement action planning when necessary
• Write and review policies in support of the application process for the Primary Stroke Center
• Lead community outreach initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Education in management, critical care nursing or public relations
• 5+ years of experience in ED, critical care, stroke care and/or neurology; experience in data abstraction and process improvement preferred
• Experience providing care to patients of all ages, supervising and educating teams a
• Knowledge of American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines for Stroke and Det Norske Vertias, Inc.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Current NJ RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• National Certification preferred
