Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Operating Room area. Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
- Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
- Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
Requirements:
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
- IA RN license
- BLS and ACLS are required
- One year of Medical/Surgical or similar nursing experience required
Schedule:
- 72 hours a pay period.
- 8 - 9 hour variable day shifts in a 2 week period.
- Minimal on-call weeknights and weekend rotation.
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department.
