Job Summary
We are seeking 5 experienced and certified Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialists for an urgent, high-impact project. This is a remote contract role suited for Registered Nurses (RN) or Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG) who hold CDI certifications and have a solid background in inpatient clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
        Review medical records to ensure accurate and complete documentation for coding and reimbursement purposes.

        Query physicians and providers for clarification and additional documentation as needed.

        Collaborate with coding teams to support compliant and optimized DRG assignments.

        Ensure documentation meets CMS and payer requirements for quality, safety, and medical necessity.

        Support education and documentation improvement initiatives as needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications
        Active CDI certification (CCDS, CDIP, or equivalent).

        RN license (any U.S. state) or verified FMG status.

        2+ years of inpatient CDI experience.

        Strong understanding of DRG assignment, coding guidelines, and clinical documentation requirements.

        Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., 3M, EPIC, Cerner).

        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience
        Experience in Behavioral Health or Psychiatry documentation.

        Background in case management or utilization review.

        Ability to work independently and meet aggressive deadlines.

Location: Remote (U.S.-based applicants preferred)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (W2 or 1099)
