Description

• Provide instruction in adherence with best practices and all relevant federal, state, and local and accrediting body rules and regulations in clinical skills laboratories, simulation labs, and other courses as assigned
• Participates in interprofessional education activities
• Prepare equipment, supplies, and physical set-up and breakdown for lab and simulation activities
• Collaborate with faculty and Office for Academic Success to implement targeted intervention strategies related to clinical learning to enhance student success in meeting program outcomes
• Assists Division staff in conducting and maintaining inventory of lab equipment and supplies
• Advises the Associate Dean for Simulation and Clinical Learning for equipment and supply needs
• Collaborates with faculty to create, revise, and update clinical learning and simulation activities to meet curriculum objectives and goals
• Adheres to standards of operation and best practices in the implementation of all clinical learning and simulation activities
• Maintains communication with faculty and students of assigned courses to promote collaborative and collegial working relationships
• Promotes a learning environment that is non-discriminatory and that provides equity for all students
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Associate Dean for Simulation and Clinical Learning

Requirements

• Doctoral Degree (PhD/DNP/EdD) required or in progress
• Working knowledge of the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice
• Experience teaching with simulation
• Experience teaching clinical skills
